Integrations
Luna HR connects to your existing business tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual data entry.
Available integrations
Sage Accounting
Push approved expense reports to Sage as purchase invoices.
What it does:
- An approved, authorised or paid expense report becomes a Sage purchase invoice
- The employee is matched to a Sage contact by employee number, and created if absent
- Each expense line becomes an invoice line, using the category's GL code as the nominal code
- Sync status is tracked per report — pending, syncing, synced or error
Setup:
- Go to Admin > Integrations
- Click Connect on the Sage card — you'll be sent to Sage to authorise Luna, then returned. There are no API keys to copy: it's an OAuth connection, and Luna stores the resulting tokens encrypted.
- Set the GL code on each expense category under Admin > Expense Categories if you want lines mapped to specific nominal codes
FreeAgent
The same flow for FreeAgent, pushing each expense line as a FreeAgent expense entry, with the employee matched by email address.
Sync settings
Each connection has three switches:
| Switch | Effect | |---|---| | Auto-sync | Push a report automatically when it's approved. Off by default — until you turn it on, syncing is manual | | Sync expenses | Whether expense reports sync at all | | Sync contacts | Whether Luna creates a contact at the provider for an employee it can't find |
A report can only be pushed once. If a push is already running, a second one is refused rather than creating a duplicate invoice at the provider — that applies whether the second came from a click or from auto-sync firing at the same moment.
Xero and QuickBooks
Both are listed as coming soon and cannot be connected yet.
