Modules

Luna HR is modular — you choose which features your company needs and only pay for what you use. Modules can be enabled or disabled at any time.

Available modules

Managing modules

  1. Go to Admin > Modules
  2. You'll see all available modules with toggle switches
  3. Enable a module to make it available to your employees — it appears in the sidebar and all related features become accessible
  4. Disable a module to hide it — the sidebar entry disappears and the features are no longer accessible. Your data is preserved and will be there if you re-enable it later

During your trial

All modules are enabled during your trial period, so you can explore everything Luna HR offers before deciding what you need.

After your trial

Your plan determines which modules are included. You can add or remove modules from your subscription at any time — billing adjusts automatically.

What happens when you disable a module?

  • The module disappears from the sidebar for all employees
  • Existing data is preserved — nothing is deleted
  • Reports that reference the module's data will still include historical data
  • If you re-enable the module later, everything is exactly as you left it

Always-on features

Some features are always available regardless of which modules you enable:

  • Dashboard — overview of your pending items and recent activity
  • Filing Cabinet — document storage and e-signatures
  • Company Structure — org tree and employee management
  • Approvals — consolidated approval inbox (only shows items for enabled modules)
  • Luna AI — available if your plan includes AI
